Attendance Matters at Thorns!
At Thorns we continue to encourage good attendance. We understand that at times absences cannot be avoided. Can we please remind you, that where possible medical appointments should be made outside of the school day. If this can’t be avoided please bring your child into school before the appointment and back to school after. Regular school attendance improves academic performance, encourages social development and friendships. It also prepares children for their future. We want them to leave Thorns equipped for their next steps. We can only help with this if they are in school!
