Aviation STEM Workshop
Years 4 , 5 and 6 had a live lesson on STEM on Aviation. They heard from three experts: Professor Angela Dean - a Materials Scientist in Aerospace Engineering; Anil Padhra - a Climate Change Manger with Emirate Airlines; and Chief Petty Officer Yvonne Starkey who is an aircraft engineer on the helicopter fleet. Many schools joined in on the live lesson and we even had the chance to ask questions! Several children have begun to imagine whether a career in Aviation is for them. Aspiring and inspiring a new generation!
