Reception Allotment Visit
Reception had a wonderful time visiting the allotment as part of their outdoor learning. The children planted potatoes, radishes, and sweetcorn, developing their understanding of how plants grow. They also enjoyed smelling a range of herbs and exploring different scents. To complete the experience, each child planted their own cress seed pot to take home and look after. It was a fantastic hands-on learning opportunity that the children thoroughly enjoyed.
