This week in Reception, we have been learning all about nocturnal animals and the special creatures that come out at night. The children have really enjoyed exploring how these animals live, move and stay safe in the dark!

For your home learning, we would like you to go on a listening walk together.
👂🌙 When you go outside, take a moment to stop and listen carefully.
What noises can you hear?
Birds? Cars? Wind? Maybe even some animals hiding nearby! Encourage your child to talk about the sounds and where they might be coming from.

We have also sent home:

✍️ A handwriting sheet to help practise this week’s sounds
